Expressing Our Love to God
In two days, we will celebrate “Father’s Day.” A time when we honor our fathers and let them know we love, esteem, and appreciate them and their contribution to the family.
According to my Google research, Father's Day originated in the United States, with the first statewide celebration held on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington.

How we Value the Lord
It has been awhile since we lasted posted a new blog, but this week I sensed the 'Weekly Thoughts' message my friend John Fenn posted today on https://churchwithoutwallsinternational.org/ was a message the Father wanted me to share. It resonated with me and I believe it will resonate with anyone wanting to walk pleasing to the Lord.

Are We Really Surrendered? 3
Being fully surrendered to God is not a one and done decision, though it begins with a conscious determination and willful choice to be dedicated and lovingly abandoned to Him and His will.
Like any other commitment in life, it requires daily and continual focus and intentional determination and yielding.

Are We Really Surrendered? 2
As we near the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we have no better example of a surrendered life than His. Jesus’ whole focus in life was to fulfill the will of the Father.
He was not here to gain popularity, get rich, live a comfortable life that avoided conflict, suffering or hardships. He was completely surrendered to accomplish His ordained purpose.

Are We Really Surrendered?
There is a fresh move of the Spirit across the earth, and it is drawing men and women, boys, and girls, to full surrender to the Lordship of Christ. None of us have arrived at the perfection we are capable of in Christ, but there is a difference between just getting by and full surrender.

Doing This One Thing 2
In our previous post we shared Paul’s determination to forget what was behind and his focus on what was ahead in Christ. It was his “one thing.” “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV Today, we will quickly look at King David, and his hear

Doing This One Thing
We have entered a new year, and as always, some will make resolutions to ensure they have a better year than the previous one. They will make resolutions to earn a degree, lose weight, get in shape, eat healthier, make more money, and the list goes on and on.

Come Before His Presence With Thanksgiving 2
As we noted in our last post, the scripture exhorts us to be thankful.
“in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Come Before His Presence With Thanksgiving
Once we begin to focus on being thankful, it changes our outcome on life. It can even rearrange our circumstances to line up to God’s perfect will for our lives. By being thankful, we turn our attention to the goodness of God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Truth 4
My wife had a dear friend who was very close to her. This friend
even moved into our neighborhood to be close by. The two worked at the same company for many years, and were quite transparent with each other concerning their personal lives, challenges, and difficulties they were facing on their jobs.

Truth 3
We are living in a generation where truth is increasingly being considered hate speech. It has become a generation where many leaders and authority figures (including parents) are terrified to confront issues with the truth for fear of being labeled insensitive, legalistic, hateful, unloving, or uncaring.

Truth 2
Recently Face the Nation ran a special program on AI generated content. The episode was entitled “How to differentiate AI-generated images and videos from real ones.”

Why Should We Fast?
At the beginning of the year many ministries and churches proclaim
a time of fasting to spiritually set the course of the year.

Is There Enough Evidence?
In a court of law, a defendant must be found guilty of a crime before he or she is charged and sentenced. The judge or jury cannot convict a person of a crime unless there is enough evidence to prove them guilty.
