Understanding Who We Are 2

Understanding Who We Are Part 2 In our last post, we began to examine the importance of knowing who we have become in Christ, and what God has done for us through Christ. Understanding this, is crucial for our development and spiritual growth in the Lord. When we do not understand who we are in Christ, and what God has already done for us in Him, we can strive to become something He has already made us, instead of believing in the finished work and walking out that reality in our daily lives Philippians 2:12. As I mentioned previously, by meditating on the “in Him,” “by Whom,” “through Him,” “with Him,” “by Christ,” “in Christ,” “of Him,” “of Christ” passages, you can grow greatly in your faith. There are scores of passages that reveal these “In Him” truths. Here are several to help you see this pattern in scripture and the treasure we have in, through, of, and by Christ. This article is the longest post so far. You may want to read it in smaller segments at a time to fully digest all these New Testament gems of revelation.
